The Assyrian National Council of Stanislaus County (ANCS) is proud to have initiated and developed the Assyrian National ID Card project. We are a nonprofit organization representing the Assyrian community of Stanislaus County in California (EIN: 77-0543159). Today, the majority of local Assyrian churches and organizations operate under the umbrella of the ANCS.

The Assyrian National ID initiative was conceived and launched by the ANCS as part of our broader mission to strengthen Assyrian identity, unity, and cultural continuity. While individual participants are responsible for the cost of their own card, the program itself is an official initiative of the Council, and the ANCS does not profit from the purchase of these cards.

Importantly, the initiative has received endorsement and support from respected Assyrian institutions, including recognized national Assyrian bodies and the Assyrian United Organizations of California (AUOC). This broad alignment reinforces the project’s legitimacy and collective purpose.

As the coordinating body, the ANCS continues to lead implementation and outreach efforts, ensuring that Assyrians across generations, regions, and affiliations have the opportunity to participate in this unified and symbolic expression of our shared identity.
